Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings - Elena Kagan

Elena Kagan has no judicial experience and therefore we can't tell how she would act on the bench.   So the story goes.  This simply isn't true.

Elena Kagan when in a position of power at the Harvard Law School used her position of power to promote a personal cause that opposed the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" rule in the military.   This is a clear example of how she will act if she is confirmed to the US Supreme Court.    We can expect her to abuse her power again to promote her own ideology.

I've said before that it should not matter whether a person is liberal or conservative when they sit on the court because on that court they should honor their fiduciary responsibility to the nation.  We know already that four do not.   How else can it be explained that in McDonald v Chicago that four justices came to the conclusion that "...shall not be infringed." did not apply to Mr. McDonald and the City of Chicago?   That vote should have been 9 - 0, not 5 - 4 and I don't simply fear, I am confident, that Miss Kagan will be voting in the same manner as the departing Stevens, in a manner counter to the language of the law but in strict adherence to the  progressive philosophy that is destroying our country.

Another good one, Patriot. And I know Ken Buck agrees with you on the 9-0 vote vs. the 5-4 vote, because he mentioned that very thing in his debate with Jane Norton last night. Great minds think alike?
