The handwriting is on the wall.   Harry Reid is at risk of losing his seat in November and as a result, he and others of his ilk have become more dangerous than ever.   He will work to push Cap and Trade and every other Obama initiative forward this year in an effort to pass those measures consistent with his ideology because he has nothing to lose.  Those who are bent on removing him from office already have all the ammunition they need and as a result he really can't hurt himself by pushing more.   He will be looking at his legislative agenda and attempting to pass things in 2010 that he may never be in the position to raise and pass again.  He has begun to realize he may not be back next year.  

We must remain vigilant.   We have the votes in the Senate to stop almost anything he would bring forward by preventing cloture.   Unfortunately we do have some members who are not hell bent on stopping the madness.  Some Republicans are in agreement with certain aspects of this legislation and might vote to allow cloture.  If they do, then once again Reid will have the votes he needs to pass any legislation.  Thus, those of you who are in districts or states with Democrat Congressmen or Senators who are at risk in the next election must continue to contact your representatives and do all you can for the campaigns of their opponents.  Attend rallies.   Contribute money, even small amounts.   Flood your representatives' offices with phone calls.  Demonstrate en masse against what is happening.  Those who expect to lose their seats over their Healthcare vote will be unapproachable.  They too have nothing to lose.   Those who still believe they can win however are susceptible to calls and demonstrations.  Attend Tea Parties.   Become active in politics.  For some of you this will be the first time.   Don't be intimidated.   Just Do It.
