A Day of Infancy
Lisa Murkowski demonstrated a selfish intent to spoil an election for a party who simply preferred another candidate. It is shameful that any candidate would regard the election of an opponent as a rejection by some of her and respond in a manner that can only be described as brattish.
It is the hope of republicans that Joe Miller can survive this additional obstacle in his quest for that Alaskan senate seat. Given that Murkowski may only participate as a write-in candidate is hopefully an indication that Murkowski's lack of fair play within a party that has for years supported both her and her family cannot be successful. It is probably a given that she cannot win. She can only be a spoiler and hand the seat to the Democrat in a childish display. Alaskans unfortunately learned too late that the woman they formerly supported is overall a childish, infantile brat.
