10.1%
Gallup measures the unemployment rate at the end of September as 10.1%. This is .8% higher than the 9.3% they reported at the end of August. Despite President Obama's repeated attempts to encourage Americans, we are NOT going in the right direction.
There are two possibilities:
1. President Obama believes the Marxist theories he learned in college as to what moves an economy despite the heavy dose of reality that has constantly confronted him during these past 21 months or
2. the motives of President Obama are malevolent. He purposely wants to destroy this nation's economy to enable a power grab in the United States as promoted by the Fabian Socialists of the late 1800's.
No one wants to believe that a President of the United States could be driven by malevolent motives or could be working against the best interests of the US and its economy, nobody. However, there comes a point when the President must look realistically at the results of his policies and recognize that the successes of Marxist Theory are nonexistent. If he has altruistic feelings toward this country and takes pride in the oath of office he took during his inauguration then as an educator he will realize when a theory doesn't work and he will try another approach. If he refuses to give up his ideology despite this obvious failure one must then ask what his true motives are. Even the smallest child won't put their hand on the red burner a second time. When can we expect this type of recognition from our President or does he already recognize this and is it his intent to burn our hands?
